Sensational Stuffed Mushrooms

Serve these elegant mushrooms hot from the oven.

28 large mushrooms

1/2 pound bulk porksausage
1 cup Cherry De-Lite dried cherries
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 8 oz. package creamcheese, softened

Preheat oven to 425º
Rinse mushrooms. Pat dry & remove stems.
Cook and stir sausage in a large saucepan over medium heat until sausage is well done.  Remove from heat; drain fat.  Add cherries, green onions and cream cheese; mix well.  Fill each mushroom with a heaping teaspoon of mixture.  Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.  Bake for 6-8 minutes.
